An illustrated print inspired by a trip to Japan a few years ago.
You are looking at an original illustration designed by myself. ‘Flying Swans’ is a digital print printed on Epson Archival Matte Paper. I was inspired by our trip to Japan a few years ago as I wanted to recreate the memory of it, particularly the repeat patterns on traditional kimonos. It was definitely a trip of a lifetime and I’m sure we’ll be going there again.
This print comes in A4 and A3 paper size. The measurements of the prints: A4: 297 x 210 mm / 29.7 x 21 cm / 11.7 x 8.3 inches. A3: 420 x 297 mm / 16.5 x 11.7 inches. The image itself has approx 1cm white border around it- ready to be framed.
The print is signed and sealed in a clear cellophane bag. If you would like your item to be delivered using Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Service Guaranteed by 1pm please let me know and I will change the shipping for you. All orders are sent via Royal Mail’s First Class Standard.
Any questions please feel free to get in touch. Thanks for looking!

Hello there and I’m Jo Cheung. I’m a freelance illustrator and designer whose work ranges from a variety of mediums: magazine articles, web graphics, and greeting card designs. Originally from Doncaster, I moved to London to study illustration at The University of Westminster and has since resided in North London.
My work often depicts imaginary, dreamy and surreal landscapes as I’m interested in the complex and conflicting relationship between animals and humans. I incorporate a lot of hand drawn images, collages and paintings within my work and then it’s digitally altered on the computer. I use a lot of textures, shapes, patterns and colours. My inspiration comes from people and places I see and visit on a day to day basis, conversations, music, travelling to different places, nature, and my own imagination.
