We are pleased to be back at the Ecology Pavilion, Mile End Park on December 8th and 9th. The Ecology Pavilion overlooks the reed beds of Mile End Park and will showcase 50 different designer makers each day.
Join us for original, well made, inspired design, handmade or made locally. You’ll find everything from jewellery, stationery, art, homeware, adults and kids clothes, accessories and more.
There will be several workshops over the course of the weekend.
Origami 4 Fun will be hosting a fold your own origami Christmas ornaments for adults and children. Both Days. Free
Fizz Pop Science will be hosting a slime making workshop on both days for the kids. Drop into one of their sessions and make a pot to takeaway. Both days
After their successful workshop in Spring The DIY Tribe will return with a sewing workshop for ages 7+. Everyone will be provided with a reusable wooden embroidery hoop (which they can keep) along with fabric, thread, buttons & sequins to stitch their own modern day heirloom. Saturday
Join the Italian artist Naomi Vona for an unmissable Christmas workshop. She will be demonstrating how to decorate paper boxes, gift tags, Christmas decorations and Christmas cards with the colourful mt washi tape. All materials will be provided but please bring your own postcards or boxes to decorate if you wish as well. Sunday
Urban Makers Feast will be on hand to keep your energy levels up with gorgeous, warming dishes, artisan coffee and cakes and some winter cocktails and mulled wine. Join them for a weekend of Christmas merriment and cheer.
Urban Makers care for the environment. We always encourage our makers to choose plastic free and biodegradable packaging and offer a selection of second hand tote bags on the morning of each day.
