A set of two tea towels or dish cloths screen printed in a fun, bold, black and white design. The design name ‘Slàinte mhath!’ means ‘good health!’ in Scots Gaelic and they are all about celebrating the sharing (or drying) of a glass or a cuppa with good company. The monochromatic, contemporary, abstract print would look great in any modern home, and make a lovely housewarming present.

Description

‘Slàinte mhath!’ – Is a bold black and white set of two screen printed T-towels or dishcloths. The monochromatic positive and negative versions of the abstract design are ideal for a modern home and would make a lovely house warming gift.

These quirky black and white tea towels are a contemporary design celebrating the sharing (or drying) of a glass or a cuppa with good company.

The call and response reflected in the positive and negative designs and in the naming of the design as ‘Slàinte / Slàinte mhath’. When raising a glass in Scotland you often say ‘Cheers!’ by saying the Gaelic ‘Slàinte!’. It is pronounced ‘slange’. Literally meaning; ‘health’ and the response to this toast is ‘Slàinte mhath!’ or ‘good health!’ and pronounced ‘slange i va!’.
