Tomartacus
Tom and Jess Jones-Berney are a brother and sister design duo based in East London, running under the moniker of Tomartacus. With Jess taking photographs of the pairs’ favourite spots in London, Tom illustrates them using a Wacom tablet, resulting in a unique brand of hand drawn digital prints.
From the iconic Bethnal Green Gasworks, long synonymous with the East London skyline, to the unshakeable maritime majesty of Greenwich, Tomartacus captures the unique and varied landscape of our city through a distinctly local lens.
Their work takes us on a visual tour of local landmarks, including the colourful boats on Regent’s Canal, contemporary street art on Brick Lane, beautiful blooms in Columbia Road Flower Market, and the Dickensian charm of Limehouse.
