Hello hello!

I’m Hanaa aka La Plante Carnivore. I hand-illustrate colourful and joyful stationery which aim to inspire smiles.

La Plante Carnivore was created in May 2022 as I was finishing a master degree in Architecture. La Plante Carnivore, the carnivorous plant in French, is a nod to my Mauritian background and fondness of carnivorous plants. I make illustrations inspired by Mauritian and British flora and fauna and sweet anecdotes from loved ones.

All the products are made in the UK by carefully selected small businesses across the UK. They are made in small batches to minimise waste and to promote uniqueness.

All paper products are FSC-certified (the forests are responsibly managed to preserve biodiversity, support local communities, and maintain economic viability), chlorine-free, wood-free, recyclable and protected, when necessary, in plant-based compostable packaging to minimise plastic waste.
