Blue Hammer Giclée print, part of my Essential Tools series, is a heartfelt acknowledgment to the influential artist Jim Dine. His dressing gown paintings captivated my youth, fuelling my obsession with creating art through fashion. Immersed in the vibrant Pop Art scene of 60s America, I developed an appreciation for everyday objects and their stories, much like Jasper Johns’ beer cans and Claus Oldenberg’s toothpaste tube. I print each image in my studio as giclée prints, using 12 pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper (310gsm). Every print is carefully packaged by hand, wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and placed in a strong card sleeve or tube for protection.
