60’s Inspired Retro Dangle Earrings

Celebrate your love of bold, retro-inspired style with these eye-catching handmade earrings. Crafted with care in my Somerset studio.

Featuring a vibrant abstract design in turquoise, pink, yellow, and off-white, the fabric is printed from one of my original creations and digitally cut into shape. The dynamic pattern evokes the playful beauty of kaleidoscope toys, adding a nostalgic yet contemporary touch to your wardrobe.

Each pair of earrings is mounted on a chunky plywood base, made from birch and poplar. The base is laser cut by me and hand-painted with a couple of light coats of a water-based metallic purple paint. This highlights the natural wood grain while offering a subtle, shimmering finish. Lightweight and comfortable to wear, these earrings make a statement without weighing you down.

I create each piece of jewellery in my studio using my laser cutter. A brilliant tool that transforms my unique designs into wearable art.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a fascination with Colour, most specifically the almost magical way it can change your mood and state of mind.

My desire, when I began Sophie Kate Creates, was to create little pops of colourful accessories for people to wear, and vibrant creations to decorate people’s homes; items that allowed anyone to quickly brighten up an outfit, or room. A desire that holds true to this day.

Every item I create begins with one of my original fabric designs, carefully printed onto premium faux leather. Whether it’s a pair of dainty earring studs, a bold statement necklace, or a vibrant drinks coaster, each piece is thoughtfully made with the desire to bring a happiness to your world.
