Description
An A5 notepad is a stationery staple for home or work, so why not have a beautiful one?!
This Brighton Birds pattern was originally inspired by the Royal Pavillion in Brighton, close to where I grew up and with memories of colour and pattern filled school art trips. The pattern features hand-drawn and hand-painted motifs which I then digitised and tweaked for this stylish stationery collection featuring this notepad, a notebook, a double-sided bookmark and a list pad.
This recycled paper pad will add a sense of sophisticated to whatever you’re writing, and the central panel is semi-transparent so you can easily read what you’ve written and enjoy the pattern underneath. There’s 50 sheets per pad, glued gently along the top edge so easy to tear-off without damaging the sheets underneath, and as with all my notepads the paper is 100gsm so is gorgeously smooth and able to stand-up to inky pens and highlighters. It is backed with sturdy recycled board and will arrive in a biodegradable cellophane wrap to keep it neat during its journey (but which is also easy to get rid of guilt-free in the household rubbish).
A5 pads just like this one make great gifts for a few reasons! They’re an easy shape to wrap and post, they make a unique budget-friendly yet quality gift (especially good for a colleague or a Secret-Santa), and they’re a practical present too. So if you’re conscious about not wanting to get something for the sake of it a pad like this, or just generally beautiful patterned stationery, make a brilliant choice. In fact last year my A5 pads, and sets including them, were popular teacher gifts!
