Description
This is a beautiful little gift-set for a letterbox gift, stationery-loving colleague, to say thanks to a teacher or even to put in for the office Secret Santa (Budget depending). This set combines two of my most requested notepad sizes – A5 and a list pad – and combined together they really do make such a sweet set.
The Brighton Birds pattern is a chinoiserie style pattern in blush pink and blues, inspired by a staircase in the the Royal Pavillion in Brighton. All the motifs are originally hand-drawn and painted before being digitised and tweaked in scale to create a repeat pattern I could then use across the stationery collection.
Both these notepads are printed, in the UK, using vegetable oil inks on to recycled paper. And at 100gsm the paper will hold up well to fountain pens, highlighters and all your every day pens. They’ve each for 50 sheets which are gently glued along the top narrow edge ensuring tearing off the pages is easy. They also have very-slightly transparent central writing panels so you can slightly see the pattern underneath but not enough to detract from what’s on the pad!
Each pad is wrapped individually in biodegradable cellophane before being bound together with a paper belly band. This means it’s practically ready to gift as is, or you could separate them out if you so wished to gift individually or with something else.
If this pattern has caught your eye a double-sided bookmark in this pattern is also available, as are other stationery gift sets and individual items if you wanted to mix-and-match a bit.
