Description

This gilet has been created from reclaimed denim and vintage wool blanket. The gilet is reversible with one side quilted blue denim, soft and faded with age with patch pockets created from vintage shirt fabric. The other is classic cream and mint green wool blanket which is super warm and cosy. Quilted in between is a soft cotton wadding. There’s a hook for easy hanging and wooden toggle fasteners.

The roomy fit allows for cosy layering and the sturdy construction means this gilet is designed to be worn for years to come!

Each item is handmade and unique and produce in my studio in north London.

Giving a second life to vintage fabrics by reworking them to create unique items for your wee ones. Plus you get the huge added bonus of buying a more environmentally friendly item with sustainability at its heart.

Due to the nature of vintage fabrics there may be some minor imperfections to the fabrics but this adds to the story.

Care instructions:
As this has a wool lining please wash on a wool cycle in the washing machine.

From old jeans there are baggy, street style jeans and shorts, quilted denim gilets and bucket hats. Classic jean jackets and denim dresses given a new lease of life with rainbow tassels and frilly collars. Every item is unique and handmade in my studio in North London.
