Kpɔ̃ (pronounced “poh”) is a hand-whipped shea body butter made in small batches in London, rooted in West African heritage. Named after the Ga word for “Reclaim,” every jar is an invitation to nourish your skin and reconnect with something slower and more deliberate than your average moisturiser.

How it works
At 57%, shea butter is the foundation. It delivers deep, lasting moisture, supports skin barrier repair, and is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F It softens rough and dry patches without sitting heavily on the skin. Mango butter works alongside it, adding lightweight moisture and antioxidants that leave skin feeling supple rather than coated. Jojoba oil closely mimics the skin’s natural sebum. It absorbs well, helps balance oil production, and suits a wider range of skin types including combination skin. Vitamin E oil provides antioxidant protection against environmental stress and supports overall skin conditioning. Arrowroot powder absorbs excess moisture and oil, cutting the greasy after-feel typical of butter-based products and leaving a smoother, silkier finish.

Scent
A warm, grounding blend of naturally derived, high-quality essential oils. Bergamot opens with a bright, uplifting citrus note. Lavender settles into something calmer and more considered. Ylang ylang brings a soft floral depth that lingers. Together they work as quietly as the product itself.

Suitable for
All skin types. Gentle enough for the whole family including children. A patch test is recommended if you have known sensitivities to any listed ingredients.

100g in a reusable amber glass jar. Dimensions to be confirmed. Colour: natural ivory to cream. Slight batch variation is normal and a sign of quality, not a fault.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep water out of the jar to preserve shelf life.

Green credentials
No artificial ingredients. No animal-derived ingredients. Not tested on animals. Amber glass jar is reusable and recyclable. Shea sourced through women-led cooperatives in Ghana.

Return Policy

If your order arrives damaged or there is an issue with your product, please contact us within 7 days of receipt via Urban Makers messaging and we will make it right. Due to the nature of skincare products, we are unable to accept returns on opened or used items unless they are faulty.
