Patches are a great way to show some care and revive your much loved clothes. In this workshop we’ll discuss where you find your joy and empowerment and how we can visualise it.
I’ll guide you through some basic embroidery stitches, on fabric off-cuts and we’ll turn them into your one-of-a-kind pop of empowerment; a hand-embroidered patch made by you.
All materials will be provided including iron-on fabric. So you can take your work home and stick it to your favourite jacket for all to see, or you can display it on your wall, wherever will bring you most joy.
If you now how to embroider or not, this workshop is for you. Amongst the Urban Makers Spring Market in the Ecology Pavilion it’s the prefect Sunday activity for a May day.
Tickets are a three tiered PayWhatYouCan structure so that everyone has the opportunity to attend, those with a little more cash can supplement others.
