‘Brixton’ is an homage to Brixton and its vibrant, bustling centre featuring the famous Ritzy cinema, Town Hall and Bovril building in Windrush Square.

This 5 layer screenprint pays tribute to the place that Underway Studio has called home since 2018.

Limited edition of 65 , printed on 310gsm Southbank Smooth paper. Each print is numbered and signed by Underway Studio.

The paper measures 420mm x 594mm (A2)

Underway Studio is an illustration and printmaking collective based in Brixton, South London. Founded in 2015, the four members of Underway Studio use a unique, collaborative approach to create limited edition screen prints for sale. Print designs are passed between the collective until they are finalised and ready to be screen printed. As a result, the artworks have an impression from each artist creating a unique aesthetic . Much of Underway Studio’s work is influenced by architecture, form, texture and colour. Using physical print processes means their visual language is both playful and distinctive, incorporating photography, collage, drawing and embracing any happy accidents along the way.

The current members of Underway Studio are: Aiden Barefoot, Anna Schmidt, Caitlin Parks and Melissa North.
