Description
This A4 art print features my original hand-drawn illustration inspired by the Princess of Wales Conservatory at Kew Gardens in Richmond.
I wanted to capture the wonderful variety of plant life found within this beautiful glasshouse and the feeling of being surrounded by such an abundance of greenery.
The illustration brings together a selection of the plants found throughout the conservatory, drawn in a loose and expressive style. Rather than focusing on botanical accuracy or every tiny detail, I’ve used the natural shapes and movement of the plants to create a relaxed and lively representation of the space. The result is a piece of botanical artwork that celebrates the beauty and variety of the plant life on display at Kew.
Kew Gardens is a wonderful place to explore, and this illustration is part of my wider collection of hand-drawn London artwork inspired by the capital’s parks, gardens and green spaces. It’s a lovely piece for anyone who enjoys Kew Gardens, botanical art, plants or the quieter, greener side of London.
The print is produced on 120gsm uncoated paper, chosen to complement the soft and natural quality of the original drawing. Available in A4, it would look lovely framed on its own or displayed alongside other botanical or London-inspired prints.
Your print is carefully packaged with greyboard, a cellophane bag and a padded envelope to help ensure it arrives safely and in excellent condition.
