I’m Louis, the urban maker and designer behind Studio16design. After years of working as an experienced furniture maker across London, mastering the art of joining, finishing, and respecting the grain of solid wood, I found myself wanting to bring that same level of craftsmanship into a more intimate space: home accessories. I have spent decades crafting bespoke wardrobes. Now, I am channeling that expertise into creating unique, functional interior pieces—small-batch decor designed to add warmth, character, and intentionality to your home. I believe a house becomes a home through the smaller details. I wanted to take the same premium materials and refined skills I used for furniture and apply them to items that are accessible, purposeful, and sustainable. Whether it’s curated serving boards, or bespoke wall features, every piece is made to last a lifetime. All my work is designed and meticulously crafted in my workshop here in the UK.
