On a recent visit to Kew Gardens, I noticed these flowers that are endemic to my home country, South Africa. It was such a lovely reminder of home.

I’m a South African currently living in London. I’ve always had an obsession with plants and flowers, and my illustrations are a reflection of that. A lot of my work has a connection to my idea of home, and my mother, and what I paint is a reflection of what grows in our garden in Cape Town, and also what surrounds me here on the other side of the world. Being an avid gardener, my mother and I share a love for all things green. All prints are reproductions of original watercolours, printed onto acid free paper.
