The design name ‘Slàinte mhath!’ means ‘good health!’ in Scots Gaelic and is all about celebrating the sharing of a glass or a cuppa with good company. Description

‘Slàinte mhath!’ – Is a bold black and white set of two trays. The monochromatic positive and negative versions of the abstract design are ideal for a modern home and would make a lovely housewarming gift.

These quirky black and white trays are a contemporary design celebrating the sharing of a glass or a cuppa with good company. When raising a glass in Scotland you often say ‘Cheers!’ by saying the Gaelic ‘Slàinte!’. It is pronounced ‘slange’. Literally meaning; ‘health’ and the response to this toast is ‘Slàinte mhath!’ or ‘good health!’ and pronounced ‘slange i va!’. The call and response of this is reflected in the positive and negative designs.
